CBI to probe Sonali Phogat’s death

CBI is set to probe the murder of BJP leader and social media influencer Sonali Phogat, with the department of personnel and training (DoPT) endorsing the Union home ministry’s recommendation for handing over the case to the Central agency. The ministry of home affairs had written to DoPT recommending a CBI probe into the unnatural death of Phogat. A letter in this regard was earlier received by home minister Amit Shah from Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant.
