Amid hijab row, peaceful start to Karnataka exams

Amid the ongoing hijab row, the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations began on a smooth note on Monday with Karnataka recording the presence of nearly 97.6% of the total students. Of the nearly 8.7 lakh students who were to attend the exams, over 8.4 lakh students attended on Monday while 20,994 students skipped the test.
