Mumbai: 10-year rigorous imprisonment for rapist even as girl dies before deposition

Sentencing the rapist of an 8-year-old girl to 10-year RI, a city Posco court said the victim's mother should be awarded compensation by the District Legal Services Authority, Mumbai, under the victim compensation scheme as per rule.
