India, UK sign pact for mutual recognition of educational qualifications

India and the UK on Thursday agreed on mutual recognition of educational qualifications of students from both countries, a move which will cover courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as maritime education, but will exclude professional degrees in engineering, medicine, architecture and pharmacy.
