Nix PILs challenging Places of Worship Act: AIMPLB to SC

The places of worship act freezes the religious character of a structure as it existed on August 15, 1947. It exempted the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute from its ambit and the SC on November 9, 2019 had awarded the land to the Hindus for construction of a Ram temple.
