India’s economic recovery driven by people-first approach: PM

PM Narendra Modi said on Friday that India did well to resist tremendous pressure to unveil a massive stimulus package during the Covid-19 pandemic for demand driven recovery and, instead, adopted a "people first"approach that focussed on relief for the poor, farmers, women and micro, small and medium enterprises.
