Jaishankar on row with Canada: 'They may have their concerns but it can't be that ...'

S Jaishankar has stated that there is room for diplomacy to address the ongoing bilateral row between India and Canada. The relationship between the two countries deteriorated after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged Indian involvement in the killing of a Khalistani terrorist. India rejected the allegations and called them absurd. Jaishankar emphasized that sovereignty and sensitivity cannot be one-way streets and expressed hope for a resolution. Canada has withdrawn 41 diplomats from India, and visa services have recently been resumed.
