Ashutosh Rana not 1st choice for Dushman

Ashutosh Rana's journey to playing Gokul Pandit in Tanuja Chandra's film 'Dushman' was unexpected. Initially rejected by Mahesh Bhatt due to appearing too innocent, Rana got a small role in 'Ghulam' and impressed the Bhatts during a movie trial.
