Tale of two 'Ayodhyas': How Bihar’s village attracting attention

A village in Bihar is making news for its name and preparations. Its name is "Srirampur Ayodhya" by coincidence, but it isn't the only similarity. A variety of events have been planned to commemorate that significant occasion in this village as well, according to inhabitants. The village is currently preparing for the January 22 occasion, when they plan to celebrate both "Diwali" and "Dawat" (a feast). Samatipur previously grabbed headlines Lalu Prasad, then Bihar's CM, detained BJP leader Advani for organizing Rath Yatra to support construction of temple in Ayodhya.
