Rajasthan govt issues order for conducting caste survey

The Rajasthan government has ordered a caste survey to be conducted in the state, gathering information on the social, economic, and educational levels of its citizens. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has stated that the survey will inform the allocation of reservations based on caste participation. This follows a similar caste-based survey conducted in Bihar, which revealed that the OBC and EBC groups make up 63% of the state's population.
